The College of Medical Sciences is a medical center in Bharatpur, Chitwan, Nepal. It enrolls about 100 students in the MBBS degree course each year. The private center is affiliated with Kathmandu University, Nepal, and is fully recognized by the Nepal Medical Council.
Located in the heart of Nepal, the center prides itself on its state of the art infrastructure, world-class architecture, and educated and knowledgeable technology. Of the 100 registered students, 20% of the students were nominated by the Nepalese government. All the other students paid for themselves. Nepalese-funded students are selected by Kathmandu University’s Medical Entrance Examination competition.
The College of Medical Sciences has students from various regions of Nepal, India, and SAARC. The college is fully equipped with a library of more than 20,000 books and more than 17,000 medical journals. In addition to academics, the college also focuses on the health and fitness of its students which offers opportunities for recreational activities such as yoga and gym, indoor and outdoor sports for all development.

August 8, 1993, under the pioneer leadership of Mr. Nagender K. Pampati, a young MBA from Boston, USA

To act as an independent practice center dedicated to the highest quality specialized health care services in the country and to research relevant local health problems to fully develop social services and medical education.

General Medical Council, Great Britain, ECFMG -the U.S.A., Sri Lankan Medical Council, and registered in W.H.O’s World Directory of Medical Schools.
POLICY
The College of Medical Sciences will develop and maintain the highest standards of education and ethics to produce world-class medical and emergency specialists, to create a center of excellence in medical education, modern facilities, and state of the art health care in the region.
Completed 17 years of age, and Completed 10+2 years of education or Intermediate of Science or equivalent, with English, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as main subjects and he/she must have passed in all the subjects mentioned above, securing not less than 50% of marks in the subjects mentioned above put together and also obtain an aggregate of 50% overall.
Completed a B.Sc. degree recognized by the university with one of the following subjects viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and at least one other prescribed science subject of study up to the ancillary level and he/she should have scored not less than the aggregate of 50% marks; provided that such candidate shall have passed the earlier qualifying examination (10+2 or an equivalent examination) with the subjects
